Privacy Policy — Just Me?

Effective date: October 2026

Just Me? ("the app") is published by Shadell Simpson. This policy explains what data the app handles.

The short version

On your device

Follows, alert rules, per-service preferences, activity history, appearance settings, and reports are stored locally on your device. We do not operate user accounts and do not ask for your name, email, or phone number.

Outage reports (sent to our servers)

When you submit an outage report, the app sends:

This data is aggregated into public counts (e.g. "12 reports for T-Mobile in the last hour") shown to all users. Raw reports are never displayed and are never sold or shared with third parties. Servers are hosted by Supabase, Inc.

Service suggestions

If you suggest a service, the app sends the name and website you entered plus the random install identifier, so suggestions can be reviewed before listing. Suggestions are never displayed publicly until approved.

Connection checks

The "Run check" feature tests your own connection (reachability, DNS, latency, download speed) on your device. Results are shown to you and are not uploaded.

Advertising

The app uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), coarse location, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads, per Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Data retention and deletion

Local data can be erased anytime from Settings → Clear activity, or by deleting the app. Server-side report rows are aggregate-only and contain no personal data.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
